Ramona Jones, LCSW-C, LICSW

Ramona is the Founder/CEO and a dedicated Psychotherapist. She

is passionate about helping people feel more rooted in their inner power, discover their inner strengths to help them cope with life circumstances and let go of both inner and external circumstances that no longer serve them. She practices with a holistic and intergrative approach empowering and considering a person's mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing.

From a young child, she witnessed and observed the connections between childhood experience and adult difficulties. As she began her career, she saw more and more the need for advocacy, prevention and interventions that address the mental health crises occurring in our communities.

"My true calling and passion is to empower people in recognizing their true potential by building resiliency and a strong sense of self. My ultimate goal is to build genuine relationships and connections to create the safe space necessary to create lasting change".

Ramona recieved a B.S in Psychology from Howard University while minoring in Human development. She then went on to receive her MSW in Clinical Behaviorial Health Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has been in the mental health field for over 10 years working in multiple settings and environments including outpatient and inpatient, working with a multitude of presenting issues& behavioral health disorders. Ramona has experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders as well as specializes in working with clients with unresolved trauma. She has a special interest in working in neighborhoods that are disadvantaged and provides cultural competent care to the BIPOC community.

Ramona has a unique approach to her work as she builds meaningful connections that are a model for the meaningful connections she hopes to encourage within her client's inner selves. Enroot is to fix firmly, embed or implant an idea in the mind. Helping people feel enrooted in their inner power is my passion. Through our therapeutic work I will help you redefine your roots to encourage unlimited growth. A quote I live by, " No limits allowed, no limits exist" as the only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves. Let's work together shape your beliefs to reach your infinite potential.

ANXIETY

Do you have trouble concentrating, remembering things, or feeling motivated?

Do you have trouble beginning tasks?

Is it difficult to stop thinking about your stressors?

Do you feel restless, fatigued or low energy? Possibly even having difficulty sleeping at night?

Have you been irritable? Easily frustrated?

DEPRESSION

Have you been feeling hopeless?

Has your eating and sleeping habits changed?

Do you have a low mood, often?

Have noticed overall mood changes? Or maybe you feel angry most of the day.

UNRESOLVED TRAUMA

Do you find it hard to rely on others? Maybe you'd rather " do it on your own"

Is asking for help difficult?

Do you find yourself tense often? Or maybe it's difficult to control your emotions.

Are you having a hard time trusting people? Trusting yourself?

RELATIONSHIP DIFFICULTIES

Are you feeling disconnected from others or having difficulty getting emotionally close to people?

Are your relationships changing?

Are you noticing unhealthy dynamics in your interactions with others?

If you answered yes to anyone of these, therapy may be worth exploring.
